Why not have a go at piloting a 2 seat glider? You will be towed up to 2000ft and shown how the glider is controlled - then you can have a go at flying it! If you’d rather just float around and take in the views then your instructor will be happy to taxi you around the sky and show you the sights. Makes a great gift for friends and family.
There are 2 options. The Silver voucher is a single flight of around 20 minutes where you’ll be towed up to 2000ft behind a powered ‘tug’ aircraft (then released to glide back down.) The Gold voucher takes the Silver option and adds an additional flight in a motor glider (a self-launching, propeller driven glider.) The Gold voucher is for a single person - the two flights cannot be shared between two people.
You can purchase a voucher for yourself or as a gift. When ordering you will provide the name of the person receiving the voucher. Once purchased, you’ll receive an e-voucher via email which explains how to book your time slot.
